I see where I can export as pdf but not where I can import a pdf. make sure you can select the type in the PDF of your resume as some employers use search tools to scan for specific terms when they receive a lot of applications.
I've done the same thing but the resolution is very low.
I just wondered if there was an easier way to do it, instead of having to save all the small OO documents into PDF first.
I don't think there is any application that could do such process.
This will eliminate the issues with data in the individual form fields and is quite easy to do.
Just select Combine Files into PDF from the Welcome Screen and add your files – you can even grab folders of completed forms.
Combine PDFs lets you add a new title to the combined PDFs, change the author and creator.
So, here are a couple of suggestions to address this workflow – note the second suggestion doesn’t work on PDF forms created using Live Cycle Designer.
The first workaround is to combine the forms into a Portfolio instead of a single PDF file.
You can import PDF files into OOo with the SUN PDF Import Extension: It's hard to edit imported PDF files afterwards, because they "only" get imported into OOo Draw. I'm doing a project where I have to combine text with assorted PDF files.
So I will have to add some explanation text, and a section/chapter title, plus the PDFs below it.
